Some remarks about the electronic circuits of a leaks detector

Description
Principal characteristics of the electronic circuits associated to the leak detector made up at the 'Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique', are given. Owing to the use of an A.C. amplifier, the making of the different supplies is plainer and this apparatus gives more complete information than with a D.C. amplifier. The use of very high value input resistors suitably screened allows to obtain both a large sensitivity and a fast response. Reprint of a paper published in 'Le Vide', no. 48, Nov 1953, p. 1422-1427.
Abstract (French)
Caracteristiques essentielles des circuits electroniques associes au detecteur de fuites construit au C.E.A. Grace a l'utilisation d'un amplificateur a courant alternatif, la construction des differentes alimentations est simplifiee et l'appareil fournit des renseignements plus complets que s'il etait muni d'un amplificateur a courant continu. L'utilisation de resistances d'entree de tres forte valeur protegees par un dispositif d'ecrans permet d'obtenir a la fois une grande sensibilite et une reponse rapide.
