Neutron diffraction studies of high temperature mercury superconductors

Description
A brief description is made for experimental techniques in structural studies of HTSC HgBa2CuO4-σ specimens using diffractometers that are in operation at the Dubna IBR-2 reactor. Neutron diffraction studies of mercury superconductors under normal and high (up to 5 GPa) pressure make it possible to conclude about the stoichiometric cation composition of the compounds and about the parabolic dependence of superconducting transition temperature on stoichiometric oxygen content. High pressure is shown to promote a noticeable Tc increase due to variations in lattice parameters and interatomic bonds

Приведено краткое описание экспериментальных методов, используемых при проведении структурных исследований образцов ВТСП HgBa2CuO4-σ на дифрактометрах, действующих на реакторе ИБР-2 в Дубне. Нейтронографические исследования ртутных сверхпроводников при нормальном и высоких (до 5 ГПа) давлениях позволили сделать вывод о стехиометрическом катионном составе соединений и о параболической зависимости температуры сверхпроводящего перехода от содержания стехиометрического кислорода.
