Application of nickel catalyst and UV-radiation in production of low-molecular immuno active peptides

  • 1. Tajik National University, Dushanbe (Tajikistan)

Description

The article discusses the application of nickel catalyst and UV-radiation in production of low-molecular immuno active peptides. Methods for the removal of carbobenzoxy group by hydrogenation at the presence of various catalysts and photolytic cleavage for the removal of carbobenzoxy group from peptides during their synthesis have been studied. The release of carbobenzoxyglycine was chosen as a model reaction. It has been shown that when removing carbobenzoxy groups from protected peptides during hydrogenation, it is better to use a nickel catalyst and photolytic cleavage under the influence of UV irradiation, which is more economical than using a platinum or palladium catalyst.
