Study on Re-Ta-Mo phase diagram

A series of investigations into developing a method for plotting phase diagrams with aid of local X-ray spectral analysis is continued. Using the Re-Ta-Mo system as an example, attempt is made to prove experimentally that the growth of the phases in the diffusion zone proceeds according to the parabolic law. Using the method of X-ray spectral analysis of the composition of the diffusion layers, the isothermal cross section is plotted of the triple system Re-Ta-Mo at 2300 deg C
