Studies on HAN as Pu reductant in AHWR spent fuel reprocessing
Creators

Description
Present paper describes the studies on the partitioning of Pu from uranium from loaded TBP phase generated from the extraction studies using simulated feed solutions corresponding to the dissolver solution from (Th, Pu)O2 spent fuel from AHWR. Preliminary studies were carried out with hydroxylamine nitrate as partitioning agent as it is used earlier on an industrial scale in PUREX Process. Studies on the optimization of HAN are reported.
