Description

This Criteria Document, prepared to the requirements in HNF-PRO-705 Safety Basis Planning, Documentation, Review and Approval, describes the criteria used for the FY 2001 upgrade of the Waste Encapsulation and Storage Facility (WESF) Basis for Interim Operation (BIO) and Interim Operational Safety Requirements (IOSRs). WESF will continue to safely store and manage the existing cesium and strontium inventory until final disposition in 2017
