Oxygen vacancy concentration - phase composition of zirconia dispersed in alumina matrix. Part 1
Description
Effect of oxygen content in sintering atmosphere on phase composition of unstabilized zirconia grains dispersed in alumina matrix and mechanical properties of alumina-zirconia ceramics was studied. As it was proved, appearance of metastable cubic form of zirconia was a result of oxygen nonstoichiometry., Critical oxygen vacancy concentrations for both metastable forms of zirconia were estimated.
