Total current spectroscopy

  • 1. Leningradskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR)

Description

This paper discusses the background to the relatively new technique of total current spectroscopy which can be used in studies of surface physics. The experimental and theoretical aspects of the technique are outlined. Some selected TCS investigations are reported. The desorption and adsorption of gas on [100] vanadium; epitaxial growth of gold and silver films on vanadium substrates; radiation damage in dysprosium ion implanted nickel; and the band structure of molybdenite are considered.
