Description
The electron concentration evolution in the current sheet, produced in the high pressure helium in the two-dimensional magnetic field with the zero line, is studied. The electron concentration was determined mainly from the breadths of the helium atoms and ions lines as well as the Hα lines. These lines were radiated from different plasma areas of the current sheet. The maximum concentration, obtained from the Hell line breadths, reached the value of 1017 cm-3, whereby the minimal concentration was by one order less and characterized the plasma surrounding the sheet
