YBJ-ARGO cosmic ray experiment

Description

In this paper we introduce the progress of YBJ-ARGO 6500 m2 carpet experiment launched by Sino-Italy Collaboration from year 2000, describe the structure of Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) and electronic read-out system of this experiment. The data obtained from 2 clusters running for test were analyzed, and the results indicate that the design of this experiment is reasonable
