WBVR and Hα-photometry of SS 433

Description

The new WBVR and Hα-photometry of SS 433 is given. Observations were carried out with the 2-m reflector of the Shemakha Astrophysical Observatory at the dates corresponding to the phase φ=0 and φ=0.35 of the precessional 164d period. The ratio of depths for the primary and secondary minima in W and V on the orbital light-curves at the precessional phase φ=0 is such that it cannot be explained in terms of a simple geometrical model of the accretion disk eclipses. These W and V depths can be understood taking into account the reflection of the accretion disk radiation by the ''normal'' star. The orbital light-curves obtained at φ=0 and φ=0.35 are compared with those observed at φ=0.5. The observational data are discussed in comparing with model calculations for SS 433
