A test phantom to control physical parameters in direct X-ray radiography
Description
For quality control in X-ray examinations, proposed by the Deutsche Roentgengesellschaft, a phantom has been developed with which the picture quality of X-ray equipment can be assessed. The phantom measures the main parameters influencing picture quality. A certain minimum picture quality will be determined from phantom pictures. Special care was taken for a simple method of quality control. (orig.)

Fuer eine von der Deutschen Roentgengesellschaft vorgeschlagene Qualitaetskontrolle der Roentgenuntersuchung wurde ein Phantom entwickelt, mit dem die von einer Roentgeneinrichtung gelieferte Bildqualitaet ueberprueft werden kann. Das Phantom ist so aufgebaut, dass die fuer die Bildqualitaet besonders wichtigen Parameter erfasst werden koennen. Aus Phantomaufnahmen soll das Erreichen einer bestimmten Mindestbildqualitaet ermittelt werden. Auf einfache Durchfuehrbarkeit der Qualitaetskontrolle wurde besonderer Wert gelegt.
