Description

The box-shaped container of square shape is used to accommodate fuel rods or absorber rods. It has a lid which can be interlocked on one longitudinal side. The length of the container corresponds to the fuel or absorber rods. Bodies for accommodating the foot and head pieces of the fuel rods or absorber rods are fitted on the inside surfaces of the two front sides. The container is made of stainless steel. (DG)

Abstract (German)

Der kastenfoermige Behaelter von quaderartiger Form dient der Aufnahme von Brennstoff- oder Absorberstaeben. Er besitzt einen auf einer Laengsseite verriegelbaren Deckel. Die Laenge des Behaelters entspricht der der Brennstoff- oder Absorberstaebe. An den Innenflaechen der beiden Stirnseiten des Behaelters sind Formkoerper zur Aufnahme der Fuss- und Kopfstuecke der Brennstoff- oder Absorberstaebe angebracht. Der Behaelter besteht aus rostfreiem Stahl. (DG)
