RG flow in N=1 discrete series
Description
We analyze the neighborhoods of superconformal fixed points in the FQS discrete series through the use of composite operator perturbation theory and Landau-Ginsburg type effective lagrangians. In particular, we demonstrate the existence of spontaneous supersymmetry breaking in models with zero supersymmetry index, and argue for the existence of renormalization group flows which change the index.
