Influence of form and deformability of nuclei on diffractive scattering of neutrons
Description
Neutron scattering by nonaxial deformed even-even nuclei within the framework of the diffraction model is considered, differential cross sections of elastic and inelastic scattering are calculated without the assumption of the small parameter of the general nucleus deformation. It is shown that the respect for nucleus nonaxiality and deformability has a considerable effect on angular dependences of cross sections. The comparison with experimental data is performed
