Description

One studied ferroelectric and dielectric properties of Pb0.99[(Zr1-xSnx)1-yTiy]0.98Nb0.02O3 ceramics with x 0.5 (y = 0.04-0.12) and x = 0.4 (y = 0.06-0.09) and plotted phase T-x- and E-T-diagrams. It was shown that in specimens of the studied solid solutions due to application of E ∝ 8-14 kV/cm rather small-scale fields one might induce phase transition from antiferroelectric into ferroelectric state identified via observation of dielectric hysteresis double loops. Tin substitution for zirconium was determined to promote expansion of temperature range of coexistence of ferroelectric and antiferroelectric phases while increase of titanium content resulted in narrowing of nonpolar phase range
