Description
In 2004 the Project demonstrating the achievements of the Kozloduy NPP in the safe management of radioactive waste and spent fuel has been completed. The final results from the task is a multimedia presentation. The second part of the presentation is given in the paper. The following topics are presented: fuel supply; refueling of the reactor WWER-1000; spent fuel storage in the pool; transportation and storage of the spent fuel in the waste repository; fuel handling in the repository; transportation of the spent fuel to Russia; legislation and regulatory framework in the field of spent fuel management in Bulgaria
