Description

A thermoanalytic investigation into the kinetics of step-wise dehydration and decomposition of β-modification of fluoride-oxalates the LnC2O4Fx4H2O composition has shown that they decompose according to the scheme: LnC2O4Fx4H2O → LnC2O4Fx2H2O → LnC2O4F → LnOF. The kinetic parameters (apparent acitivation energies E and preexponential logarithms lnA) at conversion levels α=0.1; 0.5 and 0.9 are calculated for each decomposition stage. It is shown, that the kinetic parameters of fluoride-oxalate decomposition vary versus the rare earth ionic radius in a nonmonotonous way, likewise changes in the thermodynamic characteristics of rare earth different complexes
