Investigation of the energy resolution of the Erlanger EN-Tandems

Description

The influence of the stabilizer system of the Erlangen EN-Tandem on the beam spread was investigated. There was especially searched for a possible correlation between the terminal ripple signal and the observed energy resolution. The measured value using a nuclear reaction was found to be ΔE=2.1 keV.
