Evaluation of nuclear bremsstrahlung for special heavy ion-atom collision systems
Description
The contributions of nuclear bremsstrahlung to the X-ray continuous spectra observed by investigating the collision systems sup(nat)Ni+sup(60)Ni (67 MeV), 74Ge+74Ge (54 MeV) and 93Nb+93Nb (67 MeV) were calculated taking into account the interfering E1 and E2 emission components. The X-ray spectra corrected for the evaluated bremsstrahlung intensity and for the delayed background are attributed to quasimolecular KX-radiation originating from adiabatic heavy ion-atom interactions
