Interaction of rhenium pentacarbonylbromide with glycyl-γ-aminobutyric acid
- 1. AN SSSR, Krasnoyarsk. Inst. Khimii i Khimicheskoj Tekhnologii
Description
The reaction of BrRe (CO)5 with glycyl-γ-aminobutyric acid in dioxane is carried out for studying the effect of dipeptide composition on the character of its bond with metalcarbonyl fragments, and bis-dipeptide complex (BrRe(CO)3x(L'H)2 (1), where L'H=NH2CH2CONH(CH2)3COOH is obtained with quantitative yield. The compound (1) is light yellow hygroscopic amorphous product, stable in the air, well dissolved in polar diluents. IR and PMR spectra of the complex testify to facial disposition of three CO ligands in Re atom with octahedral coordination and to coordination of edge aminogroups of dipeptide ligands with Re atom
