Radiation resistance of gamma-detector modules of labeling station of labeled-neutrino complex

Description

The variations of efficiency and transparency are determined for various types of light-guide shifters and scintillation plates based on polymethylmethacrylate and polystyrene for doses of from 104 to 3 x 106 rd. The specimens are irradiated in a broad beam of muons and gamma quanta from a 60Co source. The effect of radiation-induced changes in the characteristics of scintillation plates and light guides on the energy resolution of an electromagnetic calorimeter is examined. Radiation damages to lead-glass radiators from sandwich-type scintillation modules are compared
