Primary structure change in collagen by gamma-irradiation
Description
The changes in amino acid composition of calf skin collagen after gamma-irradiation (60Co) in 2,5.10-6M aerated aqueous solution have been investigated. The collagen solutions were irradiated by doses ranged from 30 to 2000 Gy. Radiosensitivity comparison of individual collagen amino acid residues was performed. (author)
