Alfven soliton created by Reynolds' stress of the lower-hybrid waves

Description
The modulational interaction of very short wavelength lower-hybrid waves with slow density modulations associated with inertial Alfven mode is investigated. Nonlinear equations governing this interaction are derived and soliton-like solutions of these equations are discussed in the context of auroral ionosphere
