The enthalpy of the addition of the fluoride anion to the BF3 and PF5 molecules
- 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Moscow (Russian Federation)
Description
Comparative investigation into the values of Bf3 and PF5 molecule and fluorine anion affinity under gas admission to effusion cell is conducted using the Knudsen effusion method with mass spectral analysis of evaporation products. Conditions for achieving equilibrium under the admission are selected and characterized. BF3+AF4-=BF4-+AlF3 reaction ΔH00 enthalpy is experimentally determined. The value of affinity with fluorine anion is obtained: FA(BF3)=328.5±13.7 kJ/mol. 20 refs.; 3 tabs
