Description

In conjunction with the authors' work on Ni-clad melt-processed Y-Ba-Cu-O (YBCO) tape, a systematic study was made on YBCO powder co-sintered with nickel. Experimental evaluations were performed by using magnetic measurements (vibrating sample magnetometer and SQUID susceptometer), microstructural studies (scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction) and electric measurements (resistivity). The results were analyzed to yield information concerning the Ni-doping effect on critical current density and flux-pinning force density
