Generators of nuclear collisions at LHC energy

Description
Current versions of most popular generators of ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions have been used to simulate central (b < 3 mf) Pb + Pb collisions at LHC energy, √s = 6A TeV. Charged-particle density predicted by the generators for the mid-rapidity range, dNch/dη, varies in the wide range, from ≅ 2000 to ≅ 6000. Moreover, even for given generator it depends strongly on model parameters and can vary from 10 to 100%

Текущие версии наиболее популярных генераторов ультрарелятивистских тяжелоионных столкновений использованы для симуляций центральных (b < 3 Фм) Pb + Pb-событий при энергии LHC √s = 6A ТэВ на нуклон. Плотность заряженных частиц, предсказанная генераторами в области промежуточных быстрот, dNch/dη, меняется в широком диапазоне - от ≅ 2000 до ≅ 6000. Кроме того, даже для выбранного генератора она сильно зависит от параметров модели и может меняться на величину от 10 до 100%Additional details
