Description
This document contains basic principles and describes measures for radon-protected construction. The aim is to describe construction and ventilation measures that enable compliance with the requirements of the Radiation Protection Act (StrSchG) for radon-protected construction. The measures described in this document - include structural and ventilation measures; - distinguish for buildings to be newly constructed or refurbished; - take into account the use of indoor spaces. This document does not apply to buildings without occupied rooms or workplaces. The application of this document requires the early coordination of the building and ventilation trades concerned. Intended withdrawal with replacement as of 2021-09 by: DIN/TS 18117-1:2021-09.

Dieses Dokument beinhaltet Grundlagen und beschreibt Maßnahmen zum radongeschützten Bauen. Ziel ist es, bau- und lüftungstechnische Maßnahmen zu beschreiben, mit denen die Einhaltung von Anforderungen aus dem Strahlenschutzgesetz (StrSchG) zum radongeschützten Bauen ermöglicht wird. Die in diesem Dokument beschriebenen Maßnahmen: - umfassen bauliche und lüftungstechnische Maßnahmen; - unterscheiden für neu zu errichtende oder zu sanierende Gebäude; - berücksichtigen die Nutzung der Innenräume. Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Gebäude ohne Aufenthaltsräume oder Arbeitsplätze. Die Anwendung dieses Dokuments erfordert die frühzeitige Abstimmung der betroffenen Bau- und lüftungstechnischen Gewerke.
