Description

The methodology of reactivity balance is contained in the used computational programs in the neutronics projects, as well as, it is used for monitoring of nuclei of nuclear reactors. During the operation of the plant it is used in the quantitative analysis of all involved parameters in the reactor with objective to evaluate and to foresee operational states in power, subcritical and critics, as well as, to foreseeing nuclear evolutions in normal and transient operations. Regard the great equivalents of reactivity generated by the diverse neutronics parameters, and still, its variation with the burning of the fuel, one computer program was developed for Angra 2 to immediately take care of and with efficiency the necessary reactivity balance for the monitoring of the nucleus. This program called REATIV/A2 has been used in the activities of monitoring of the nucleus in Angra 2 since 2002. (author)
