Bioeffect dosimetry in radiation therapy
Description
Orton first discusses time-dose relationships for fractionated radiotherapy from the viewpoints of the linear-quadratic model and other forms of the fractionation factor, simple time corrections, the nominal standard dose model, the cumulative radiation effect model, the time-dose factor model, and cell kinetics models. He then discusses dose-rate effects in fractionated radiotherapy and brachytherapy, and finally deals with volume effect models, power law equations, and integral response models
