Description
Characteristic features of the synthesis of particles, fibres (wires), tubes, films and bulk materials based on nanocrystalline and amorphous silicon carbide are considered. The role of size effects in the structure, composition and properties of these systems is analyzed. The potential application fields of nano-sized silicon carbide are outlined.
