Sb-Se-I system

Description
State diagrams of SbI3-Se, SbSeI-Se and Sb2Se3-I2 sections have been plotted. SbI3-Se and SbSeI-Se sections are shown to be quasi-binary. Proceeding from the X-ray phase and microstructure analysis data, from the measurements of the micro-hardness of the corresponding phases of the alloys, and from the results of triangulation of the Sb-Se-I triangle, the Sb3Se3-I2 section has been established to be thermal. Maxima on the diagram correspond to intersections of the lines of the binary sections SbSeI and SbI3-Se, rather than to novel chemical compounds
