An adaptive system for the reduction of the microphonic noise in cryogenic detectors signal

Description

A method to reduce microphonic noise, using a new adaptive configuration for noise filtering system is presented. The adaptive configuration differing from traditional methods has been proposed that rejects both microphonic and white noise. A comparative study is made between conventional matched filtering and this new adaptive technique. The adaptive system is demonstrated in the analysis of spectra obtained from a cryogenic tin and rhenium microcalorimetric detector. (orig.)
