Determination of (125I) thyroxine specific activity by displacement analysis [Paper No. AR-17]
- 1. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay (India). Radiopharmaceuticals Section
Description
The specific activity of (125I) thyroxine was determined by displacement analysis, using a radioimmunoassay (RIA) procedure. Though the values obtained by RIA were higher than the expected theoretical values, RIA results were consistent with thyroxine (T4) binding to T4-antibody. This anomaly has been attributed to experimental artifacts. (author)
