Description
We deal now with scanning at two different kilovoltages. CT scans of the brain which demonstrate a lesion of high Hounsfield units may present a problem in determining whether the lesion is blood or calcification. Intraparenchymal calcification may show elevated absorption values indentical to the values for fresh blood clots. (orig./AJ)
Abstract (German)
(orig./AJ)Additional details
