Description
In previous papers, a line/surface functional theory was proposed as a field theory of geometric strings and p-branes. It was shown that for toroidal p-branes in d=p+2 dimensions, the field equations can be exactly solved, yielding equally spaced mass-squared spectrum with massless ground states. In this paper, we show that these results are the manifestation of N=p+1 hidden supersymmetries in the theory. For the line functional theory (p=1), we also work out the superalgebra satisfied by the two supercharges and the total angular momentum operator
