QCD wavefunctions on a small lattice

Description
I present an algorithm for the computation of the wavefunctions of low-lying states in SU(3) lattice gauge theory in three spatial dimensions. I discuss the selection of a state basis, computation of matrix elements in this basis, and an algorithm for finding the low-lying states when the basis is very large. (orig.)
