Study of interference correlations between like-charged pions in p-barp interactions at 32 GeV/c

Description
Short-range interference correlations have been observed between identical pions in p-barp interactions at 32 GeV/c. The radius of the region of pion emission has been determined in the framework of the Kopylov-Podgoretskii formalism and amounts to about 2 F. This value is comparable with corresponding values obtained in other hadron interactions. It is shown that estimates of the longitudinal and transverse dimensions of the pion emission region are in good agreement
