Substoichiometric extraction of rubidium with Dibenzo-24-crown-8 into Xylene

  • 1. Department of Chemistry, University of Burdwan, Burdwan (India)

Description

Owing to immense applications of rubidium in varied fields, extraction and quantification of rubidium have gained great importance in recent years. Here, studies on substoichiometric extraction of rubidium by dibenzo-24-crown-8 into xylene using 86Rb radiotracer are reported. The method has been optimized by pH of the medium, effects of diverse ions, etc, to explore its applicability in real samples
