Charged strange and non-strange particle ratios as a function of pT and centrality in STAR at RHIC

Description

We present preliminary charged hadron ratios from the STAR experiment measurements of √sNN=200 GeV Au-Au collisions at RHIC. Charged kaons are identified out to 4.2 GeV/c in pT via a combination of energy loss measurements and topological identification in the main TPC. Various effects, such as strangeness enhancement and nuclear modification factors, are examined with respect to the ratios presented
