Study of high-mass e+e- pairs at the CERN ISR
Description
A sample of e+e- events produced in pp interactions at a center of mass energy √s = 63 GeV and with invarient mass m/sub ee/ > 11 GeV/c2 is discussed. The cross sections d2sigma/dmdy at y = 0, and d sigma/dp/sub T/ are presented and the mean transverse momentum, p/sub T/, of the pairs is found to be 2.3 +- 0.4 GeV/c. Azimuthal correlations between the e+e- pair and the associated particles are observed
