Effect of stabilizing additions on properties of Ni-B films

Description
Effect of stabilizing additions different in chemical nature on microstructure, physical-and-mechanical and electrical properties of nickel-boron films is studied. It is shown, that stabilizing additions introduced into chemical precipitation solution affect the rate of precipitation, boron content, film microstructure, their physical and mechanical and electrical features. Lead salt stabilizing with boron high content, with high microhardness and transient resistance. More elastic, durable films with low transient resistance precipitate at presence of organic additions. Properties of nickel-boron films depend both on their microstructure and on boron content
