Description

Details are given of the use of 85Kr for measuring the aerodynamic parameters in mines. Attention is paid to the instrumentation, determination of the air flow rate and the evaluation of the air exchange rates in closed spaces. Practical measurements concerned the leak-proofness of a cross chamber and the evaluation of air leakage in gobs of an underground mine. (P.A.). 3 figs
