Chemical cleaning of generation stator coil hollow conductor in Qinshan Ⅱ

Description
Based on analyses of corrosion products of generator stator hollow conductors, and the summary of material characteristics of stator cooling system parts, a patent low-temperature composite cleaning acid was selected specifically. The solvency test and caustic test indicated that the composite acid can dissolved the corrosion products of the generator stator hollow conductors completely and safely. After acid cleaning and pre-film, the flow and pressure of the stator cooling water become normal, the inner protect-film of the hollow conductors renewed. Some valuable experiences were provided for the analysis and management for the same kind of problems. (authors)
