Consistent description of fission probabilities of Ra and Ac in a wide excitation energy interval with account for the peculiarity of transition state spectra
Description
Neutron fission cross sections of 226Ra and 227Ac and the 228Ra, 227Ac fission probabilities have been calculated. The calculations have been performed in the framework of the consistent description of transition state spectra. The method includes both a description of the quasiparticle structure and statistical properties of excited nuclei. The previous conclusion that the reflection asymmetric outer fission barrier has a one-hump shape for the nuclides under investigation is confirmed by the calculations
