Description
In the present experiment at IUAC, Delhi the coincidence measured between the two alphas originating from 8Be decay in 12C(58Ni, 8Be) and 12C(56Fe, 8Be) using two (ΔE-E) and a silicon pad detector have been studied. A very good charge and mass separation has been achieved for projectile like products and a typical α-α coincidence
