One-dimensional flows

Description

Mathematical description of two-phase flows in one-dimensional approximation is presented. Both, a homogeneous model and a model of stratified flow are gaven. They make it possm.hle to evaluate pressure drops in stationary gas-liquid flows in channels of constant cross section. The proposed description dwells on the difference between effects of forces of friction, gravitation and inertia, in particular, and therefore, is useful while considering pressure drops in vertical and inclined channels during phase transitions- evaporation or condensation
