Description

The ADXRD beamline of Indus-2 has two mirror systems: pre-mirror system and post-mirror system. The white Synchrotron Radiation beam is vertically focused at the first crystal of the double crystal monochromator (DCM) by the pre-mirror system while the monochromatic beam from DCM is vertically focused at the sample on the experimental station by the post-mirror system. We have designed, fabricated, tested, installed and commissioned the pre-mirror system and post-mirror system of ADXRD beamline of Indus-2. This paper describes the design, fabrication and testing aspect of mirror system.
