Description

Some theoretical aspects of many particle inclusive cross-sections and correlations are discussed. Definitions of cross-sections and correlations are given as well as the enumeration of the other quantities used for describing multiparticle production. Kinematic constraints (sum rules) due to additively conserved quantities are described and a particularly important role of the energy conservation constraint is shown. The case of the coexistence of two or more production mechanism is discussed and the Giovannini's model and the Le Bellac's relation are recalled. Predictions of various models of asymptotic behaviour of correlations at high energies are treated and comparison with the experimental data has been made. (S.B.)
