Cast-iron technology status report, September 1984
Description
The results to date of an investigation of the deformation and fracture behavior of ductile cast irons with varying microstructures and chemistries are presented. The details of fracture toughness test methods, particularly at high loading rates are discussed. Finally, the plans for future work to confirm and clarify data already obtained and to obtain new information on ductile cast irons are listed. 38 figures, 26 tables
